This original grade 11 listed Georgian house was extended with two symmetrical wings either side of the main elevation, one wing a library, the other a rear entrance. The central dormer was added, in a classical style, to the roof. The pedimented cornice, quoins, sills and window surrounds are cut stonework, with rendered and limewashed walls. A curved ceiling and recessed bookshelves compliment the Palladian window and classical fireplace.

Historic Buildings - the restoration and conservation of historic buildings requires both sensitivity and a knowledge of bygone skills. Whether we are revealing original features or adapting a building for a new purpose, the development blends seamlessly with the original.
